Employment development services

Job search done together: resumes, applications, interview practice, and real employer connections.

Job hunting is hard for everyone, and harder with a disability in a process built for sameness. Employment development means a job developer works the search with the person, not instead of them.

What it looks like

  • A resume that tells the person's real story well.
  • Applications completed together, at the person's pace.
  • Interview practice until nerves turn into readiness.
  • Direct connections with employers who are actually hiring, and negotiation of hours, duties, and accommodations.

Who it's for

People with disabilities who know they want a community job with competitive wages and a real workplace, and need a skilled partner to land one.

How it's paid for

Employment development is a waiver service (CADI, DD, BI, CAC) covered at no cost to the family and authorized by the county case manager.
