Night supervision
Trained staff overnight in the person's own home, with safety and reassurance while they sleep.
Nights are when families worry most: wandering, falls on the way to the bathroom, seizures, or simply someone who isn't safe alone in the dark hours. Night supervision puts a trained, awake staff person in the home overnight.
What it looks like
- An awake, trained staff person in the home through the night.
- Help with nighttime routines, bathroom trips, and repositioning.
- Immediate response to wandering, falls, or health events.
- A calm morning handoff so the day team knows how the night went.
Who it's for
People who aren't safe alone overnight. It's also for family caregivers who haven't had a full night's sleep in longer than they can remember.
How it's paid for
Night supervision is a waiver service (CADI, DD, BI, CAC) authorized by the county case manager, typically at no cost to the family. Call us and we'll help you figure out whether it fits your situation.
